Green leaves and bananas9:43 PM
I advise you not to care about the title of this article (it sounds way better than 'a post' or 'a note', doesn't it?). Unlike the majority of the Earth's comunity I'm not sunbathing in the palm leaves' shade right now, nor I like bananas. Instead, I would like to show you (drums!) a perfect piece of clothing, which I was hunting for a long time until I found it, lonley on a hanger, tried it on a billion of times and went into the cash desk direction. Okay, I'm embelishing again (when will I finally grow up?). Sometimes I like to torment myself a little bit ('I live in a town small like a hole where the world ends') and I surf through websides of all those shops that aren't avaliable in my city (and they won't be), and even if I find in the Net anything I would be able to afford, and even if it was like taken out of my dreams - I wouldn't order it because of my phobia of online shopping ('it will come to me to small, too big, in a bad condition or made of a not-expected material'). This time I found something printed in green, reminding of some wild islands and sand beneath my toes. I decided to use one of those lazy holiday days and went for a trip to Warsaw in order to find that Topshop piece - no matter if shorts, top, dress or anything else. At 5 a.m. (there wasn't any earlier ones!) I came into the bus with only one bag full of things I will need during the day (read: one tone of wet hankies and other tone of newspapers).
Warszawa zawsze robi na mnie pozytywne wrażenie, a jeszcze większy plus zyskuje za zaopatrzenie galerii handlowych. Z wypiekami na twarzy przemierzyłam połacie krain rozpusty, przejrzałam wszystkie wieszaki, aż w końcu znalazłam wypatrzony w sieci wzorek. Mieliście kiedyś takie uczucie, że coś idealnie do Was pasuje?
Warsaw always makes such a big impression on me! And I like it even more because of the variety of shops. With red pastries on my face I was running from one boutique to another, I looked through all the shelves in order to finally spot THAT pattern. Have you ever had this feeling that somethings fits perfectly for you? Not only because of the way it's sewed but also to your personality? Like honey to Winnie the Pooh, or a blue dress to Cinderella? I'm not for spending all our spare money on clothes we will 'maybe wear' or we 'have just seen on our neighbour and it looked quite nice'. However that jumpsuit wasn't the cheapest one, I decided to buy it. I prefer to come back home with one cloth I would be happy to wear than with ten Tshirts I don't need (in this subject I recommend you Styledigger's article).
